Leyland Atlantean LA1 FYS 998 entered
service in Glasgow on the 15th December 1958 on Route No 4 from Ibrox
Garage. LA2-LA102 were delivered between August and December 1962.

1972 - December 1973. These Buses served Glasgow from the first LA1
in 1958 to the last LA1449 delivered Sunday, September 4, 2005ed in August 1962 it became the
first of the fleet to become known as the "Glasgow Style" because
they were 8in. longer than the then permitted 30ft 0in. Over 20 years
later 1448 Leyland Atlantean buses had been delivered, LA91 SGD 669
was the missing bus which went back to Leyland to promote the Glasgow
Style Bodywork and was later replaced by LA 202.
